Keith Carey &#8211; Photographer Keith Carey followed his heart to California at the tender age of 18 in search of his dreams. He never looked back and now focuses on making others&#8217; dreams become reality. He carries with him his Philadelphia streetwise nature to empathize with his subjects and to draw them out. His natural intuitiveness helps him capture the essence of the people he photographs. His love of the camera began nearly 20 years ago, but today his knowledge of photography is as fresh as the many faces he shoots. Keith knew early on that his eyes had the ability to seek out and record the natural beauty around him. His work in sculpture and drawing has only refined his ability to capture the human body through images. Besides his camera, his sensitivity and imagination are his most important tools of the trade. Keith uses his many life experiences to motivate his subjects, ease their minds and let down their inhibitions to achieve optimal results. His knowledge of lighting and color round out the exploration of each subject&#8217;s character. Although he excels at headshots/portraiture, Keith also has the ability to capture the dynamics of other subjects, such as products, objects or examples of nature. Aesthetics come in all shapes, sizes, color and substances.
